If you have COVID-19 symptoms or believe you were exposed to a confirmed case of the virus, contact your health care provider immediately.

If you are enrolled in one of Allscripts (Cigna) medical plans, you can find information about coronavirus care and coverage by visiting Cigna’s Coronavirus Resource Center. You have access to a dedicated support team for claims related to coronavirus (COVID-19) testing.

Talk to a doctor via telehealth

If you can’t (or prefer not to) visit a doctor in person, Allscripts medical plan participants can still get care for many health concerns through Cigna Telehealth Connection with MDLIVE. You and your covered dependents have 24/7/365 access to MDLIVE board certified primary care doctors and pediatricians by online video or phone.

Prescription drug program

OTC medication and supply reimbursement

The CARES Act that was enacted into law on March 27, 2020, allows you to use your health savings account (HSA) or health care flexible spending account (FSA) to pay for over-the-counter (OTC) medications and supplies without a prescription. These items, along with menstrual care products, are now considered qualified expenses by the IRS. This change is retroactive to January 1, 2020. This means that you are able to use your HSA or health care FSA to purchase any eligible OTC items throughout 2020 and beyond.
